MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's golf team carded a third round 290 and finished in a tie for seventh with a 54-hole score of 888 (+24) at the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, South Carolina, Sunday. The Lady Tigers finished tied with Kansas State and just five strokes behind the duo of Kansas and North Florida, who finished tied for fifth overall. Host Furman won the event with an 856 (-8).

Michaela Fletcher vaulted in to the top 15 with a third round 71. Her 218 moved her to a tie for 12^thoverall, her second top 15 finish of her senior season.

Fellow seniors Sydney Colwill and Madison Thomas finished in ties for 33^rdand 35^th, respectively. Colwill carded a 73 to finish at 222 (+6) while Thomas added a 73 of her own on Sunday to finish at 223 (+7). Teammates Ana Dawson and Abby Herrmann tied for 48^thoverall at 226 (+10). Dawson fired a third round 73 while Herrmann matched her second round 74 with another on Sunday.

Furman's Haylee Harford claimed individual medalist honors at 207 (-9), while Tulsa's Lorena Tseng finished second at 209 (-7).

Fellow American Athletic Conference members USF and Tulsa also competed at the three-day event. USF finished 10^that 892 while Tulsa finished two strokes back to finish 11^th.

Memphis will next be in action at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational, hosted by the University of Kentucky, October 5-7.
