Get To Know Me: Erin Gilbert

Freshman made her collegiate debut earlier this season.
Erin Gilbert is today's Memphis cross country "Get To Know Me." A freshman from O'Fallon, Mo., Gilbert is continuing the "Francis Howell High School-to-Memphis" pipeline as she follows in the footsteps of current teammate Kristen Adams and former Tiger Arnica Zitting.
Gilbert made her collegiate debut in the Sept. 1 Brooks Twilight Classic and has run in both races this season. Prior to joining the Tigers program, Gilbert starred for the cross country squad at Francis Howell. Gilbert helped the Vikings win the 2016 Gateway Athletic Conference (GAC) South crown, and she placed fourth in the race. As a senior in 2017, Gilbert qualified for the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) state cross country championships and earned all-district accolades.
