Women’s Golf Back in Competition Sunday

MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis women's golf team will swing back in to action Sunday at the Magnolia Invitational, hosted by Mississippi State and Ole Miss, at the Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Miss.
The three-day competition will include teams from Auburn, Augusta, Kansas State, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Tennessee and Troy. The Old Waverly course will play 6,320 yards for this event and teams will have tee times off one beginning at 7:30 a.m., Sunday morning.
Memphis is sending a team entry, with Michaela Fletcher, Sydney Colwill, Emily Goldenstein, Abby Herrmann and Madison Thomas competing in the team event, while freshman Julia Matzat will compete as an individual at this week's event.
Memphis will be paired with players from Augusta and Southern Miss for the first round. Memphis tee times will begin at 7:30 am and Matzat, the Lady Tigers' individual golfer, will go off of one at 8:20 am.
