Memphis continues its American Athletic Conference home weekend Sunday, Oct. 22 vs. Cincinnati. Match time is 1 p.m. (CT) at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
Head coach April Jauregui comments
"ECU is having a great season. They have solid upperclassmen contributing big numbers for them. I knew we were going to have to be on-point with our gameplan. Unfortunately, we started the match rocky. We had spurts where we executed what we we're trying to do, and that was exciting. ECU is having a great season, and sometimes, momentum like they have now is hard to stop.

"Brianna (Kadiku) did a good job tonight. That was our gameplan: go to the middle as much as we could. We were able to do that. Brianna can score at a really high level. Unfortunately, when things broke down in other areas for us, they were able to capitalize. But, we'll keep battling. It's on us coaches to keeping preparing them, keep pushing the right buttons to get us over the hump."
