When Memphis and South Florida battle on Saturday morning, Tiger fans will see a pair of familiar faces on the broadcast. The head coach of USF is former Memphis assistant coach Orlando Antigua, and he brought along Rod Strickland - another former Tiger assistant - as an assistant coach at South Florida. Memphis head coach Josh Pastner, Antigua, and Strickland were all on staff for Memphis during the 2008-09 season, and helped the program to a 33-4 record and a 16-0 mark in the Conference USA Tournament.
