Tigers add a pair of players from Germany and one from the UK.
MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis women's tennis team signed three players in the early signing period it was announced by Head Coach Hayden Perez, Wednesday. Memphis received signed scholarship offers back from Laura Bente, from Hannover, Germany; Lina Hohnhold from Haan, Germany and Alisha Reayer, from Thatcham, Great Britain.
"I would regret not thanking my team, especially Assistant Coach Ryan Haymond, for their efforts with this recruiting class," Perez said. "Ryan worked tirelessly in order to make this class a reality and I am grateful for his efforts. I know he shares in my enthusiasm to see where we can take this program in the years to come!"

Coach Perez's comments: "Adding Laura Bente to the recruiting class really solidifies a strong class for us. Laura brings a big game and a strong desire to improve. Her character makes her the complete package and watching her compete for the Blue and Gray next year will be awesome."
Lina Hohnhold, 5-10, Haan, Germany
"Lina's signing with Memphis is very exciting for the program. She has the potential to add great depth to the team as we take a big jump. Lina is a wonderful young lady whose values match ours and we are proud to make her a Tiger!"
Alisha Reayer, 5-9, Thatcham, Great Britain
Reayer has competed on the ITF Junior circuit, most recently winning her way in to the main draw at the Dundalk ITF Junior Tournament in Ireland and advancing to the singles and doubles quarterfinals. She also appeared in the singles quarterfinals at the Nike Junior International Bournemouth event in July on the junior circuit.
"We are estatic to add Alisha to next year's roster. She is an amazing young lady that will have an impact on the team immediately. She has the drive we are looking for to help not only herself, but our team, move forward. We are honored to have her become a Tiger!"
