The Memphis men's and women's soccer teams will play a doubleheader starting at 5:00 p.m. at Mike Rose Soccer Complex as part of Alumni Weekend festivities for the two programs. The women's team will host Gonzaga at 5:00 p.m. before the men host UCF for the American Athletic Conference opener at 7:30 p.m.

The Lady Tigers (4-3-2, 0-0-1) will step out of league play against for a matchup with the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Memphis opened conference play on the road with a draw against Tulsa Thursday night. Maryse Bard-Martel posted her fourth clean sheet of the season in the draw.

"I think we're happy to get a point. I'm not disappointed but I'm not ecstatic. Tulsa is a good team that has a veteran squad so I think it's a decent result to start conference play. Every game is going to be tough," said Monaghan.

The Memphis men's soccer team has had a tough start to the season and sits 0-5-1 going into conference play. The Tigers haven't played at home in 25 days, since opening the season against UAB and Northern Kentucky.

"We are looking forward to playing at home. We have gotten some experience from these games and we are a young team. There's nothing like playing at home and we are excited about the double header with the women's team in front of our alumni," Memphis men's soccer coach Richard Mulrooney said.

For the women this will be the final nonconference game of the regular season. The Tigers are home for their next two league games, against Houston, Oct. 1, and SMU, Oct. 4.

The men still have one final game outside of league play, when they host Central Arkansas Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Mike Rose Soccer Complex. The Tigers then return to AAC play at UConn before returning home to host SMU, Oct. 7.
