Tigers Rifle In Top-10 For Fifth-Straight Week

Memphis makes one-spot move up in this week's poll.
MURRAY, Ky. – For the fifth week in a row, the University of Memphis remained in the top-10 of the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) poll. This week, the Tigers are ranked No. 8 in the CRCA national poll.
On the strength of its solid performance against top-ranked West Virginia Oct. 31, Memphis moved up a spot from its No. 9 position in last week's CRCA poll.
All nine Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) programs are in this week's poll with three-time defending NCAA champion West Virginia remaining at No. 1, followed by No. 5 Kentucky, No. 8 Memphis, No. 9 Nebraska, No. 12 N.C. State, No. 13 Navy, No. 14 Akron, No. 15 Army and No. 16 Ole Miss.
For the fourth-consecutive weekend, Memphis is in action. This Saturday (Nov. 7), the Tigers shoot in the NCAA Championships Rehearsal in Akron, Ohio. The University of Akron is hosting the 2016 NCAA Championships in March.
