No. 20/22 Hawaii Hosts Memphis on Wednesday Night

HONOLULU, Hawaii - The University of Memphis softball team travels off the mainland to take on No. 20/22 Hawaii on Wednesday night at 6 pm (HT)/10 pm (CT).
The game will be televised in Hawaii on Oceanic Time Warner and can be watched for free online at https://secure.oceanic.com/Streaming/.
The Tigers (5-8) are coming off a 3-0 weekend after hosting the Blues City Classic at Greenbrook Park in Southaven, Miss. Memphis won its annual tournament for the first time after being the only school among the 12 participants to finish with a perfect record.
Junior pitcher Ellen Roberts was named the Tennessee Sports Writer's Softball Pitcher of the Week after finishing with a 2-0 record with 19 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched. Roberts combined with sophomore Jordan Richwood for 41 strikeouts in 21 innings with just two walks and 11 hits.
Memphis is 0-2 all-time against Hawaii (8-5) and last met the Rainbow Wahine last year in Las Vegas. Hawaii won the game 9-1 in six innings. The two schools have met once in Hawaii with the Tigers falling 5-3 in 2009.
