Tiger Golf Set for BancorpSouth Intercollegiate

MADISON, Miss. –The University of Memphis golf team is set to being its stretch run this week at the BancorpSouth Intercollegiate. Hosted by Ole Miss, the tournament is held at the par-72, 7,305-yard Reunion Golf and Country Club.
Play is set to begin Monday, April 2 at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start with the second round to follow that afternoon. The third and final round will be held Tuesday, April 2. Live scoring will be available via www.golfstat.com.
Memphis finished tied for ninth in the rain-shortened 2011 BancorpSouth Intercollegiate and were paced by Jonathan Fly’s ninth-place individual showing. Tornado and sever thunderstorm warnings forced the event to be limited to 36-holes as the Tigers posted team scores of 295-291.
