DALLAS, Texas - The Memphis (15-3) men's tennis team continued its sensational season with a 5-2 win at SMU (8-9) on Sunday. Freshman David O'Leary continued his unbeaten streak with a three-set win at No. 5 singles.

Memphis claimed the doubles point with convincing wins by David Henry and Connor Glennon at No. 2 doubles and David O'Hare and Joe Salisbury at No. 1. Nasemann and Grimal finished the doubles sweep with a 9-8 (7-1) at No. 3 doubles.

Connor Glennon earned a quick, 6-1, 6-4, victory at No. 4 singles and Joe Salisbury gave Memphis its third point with the 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 3.

SMU responded with a win at No. 1 singles. Pablo Perez-Ensaola defeated David O'Hare in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1. But, Leon Nasemann finished Joseph Hattrup in three sets, 7-5, 4-6, 6-2, propelling Memphis to the victory.

The Tigers gained their fifth point when O'Leary won his 17th-straight match. O'Leary dropped the first set, 6-7 (5-7), and needed to go the full three sets for the victory. The Coventry, England native only dropped three games in the final two sets, winning 6-0, 6-3.

In the final match, Grimal fell in three sets, 5-7, 6-4, 7-5, to Gaston Cuadranti to set the final score in the match at 5-2.

Memphis will be back in action this coming Wednesday, when the Tigers travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for a match against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Both Memphis (32) and Alabama (66) are nationally ranked. The match is slated to begin at 4 p.m. (CT).
