Now that our season has come to an end, I wanted to take this time to personally thank you for all of your support. It truly has been a remarkable year as we won our fifth-straight Conference USA Championship. We were ranked as high as third in the country with a final ranking of No. 9 in the NSCAA poll. We went undefeated in the regular season and we had three young ladies that were named All-American (Lizzy Simonin, Elise Kuhar Pitters, Christabel Oduro), the highest honor that a student athlete can achieve. Lizzy Simonin was also awarded the Lowes Senior CLASS Award, an award given to one Women's College Soccer Player a year. Recipients of the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award must excel in the following areas: Community, Classroom, Character, and Competition.
I personally feel that none of these achievements could have been attained without the support of our fans. The environment that you guys created for our home games was amazing and our players truly fed off of the atmosphere. I hope that you guys are as excited as I am for the future of the Lady Tigers Soccer Program. I wish you and your family all the best this Holiday Season.
