TEAM GAME NOTES
• Captains for Memphis today were safety Darius Davis, offensive lineman Michael Antonescu and linebacker Ricky Holloway
OFFENSIVE NOTES
• Junior Michael Antonescu started at center today for senior Brad Paul, who did not practice last week because of an injury. This is Antonescu's first start at center and his fourth career start. He started the final three games of the 2009 season at right guard.
• Junior Jermaine McKenzie logged a career-high in receiving yards today with a team-high 71 yards on three receptions.
• Tannar Rehrer, Marcus Rucker and Jermaine McKenzie each extended their receiving streaks to six games with receptions in today's game Curtis Johnson also extended his receiving streak to seven games dating back to the 2009 season.
• Tannar Rehrer matched his career best for receptions with three and had 41 yards receiving. He has recorded three receptions in three of the last four games.
DEFENSIVE NOTES
• Linebacker DeRon Furr was credited with a forced fumble in the second quarter. It was his first career forced fumble and the third for the Tigers this season. Louisville recovered the ball and scored a touchdown two plays later.
• Jamon Hughes and Marcus Ball led the team in tackles with seven. Hughes has led the team in tackles in 10-straight games dating back to the 2009 season.
SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• Senior D.A. Griffin returned kicks for the first time since last season. He was back on both punts and kickoffs and finished the game with 68 all-purpose yards (68 KOR, 0 PR). Coming into today's game, Griffin totaled 29 career punt returns and 20 kickoff returns (a majority of those were in '08.)
• True freshman Taurean Nixon returned the first Louisville kickoff of the third quarter. He was back with true freshman Jerrell Rhodes. It was Nixon's first career kickoff return. He returned one kick for 13 yards.
