Memphis-Marshall Softball Series Pushed Back a Day

MEMPHIS - The University of Memphis softball team has pushed back a day its three-game series with Marshall due to projected inclement weather on Friday and freezing temperatures on Saturday.
The Tigers will play a doubleheader with the Thundering Herd on Sunday at 1 and 3 p.m. at the Tiger Softball Complex on the U of M Park Avenue Campus. The two teams will close out the series on Monday at noon.
The three-game set opens conference play for both teams. Memphis enters the weekend with a 11-8 record, while Marshall is 8-10 overall.
