Earlier Sunday, Memphis found out when and where it was going to play in the 2006 NCAA Tournament. Now, the Tigers know about what time they will play.
Late Sunday night, the NCAA released the game times for the entire first round contests, and No. 1 seed Memphis (30-3) will meet No. 16 seed Oral Roberts (21-11) at approximately 2:00 p.m. (CT) on Friday, Mar. 17 in Dallas. The first game in Dallas between No. 8 seed Arkansas (22-9) and No. 9 seed Bucknell (26-4) will tip off at 11:30 a.m. (CT), and the Memphis-Oral Roberts game will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of that contest.
The Dallas first round night session will start at 6:20 p.m. (CT) with California meeting N.C. State. Texas and Pennsylvania will close Friday's action 30 minutes after the conclusion of the California-N.C. State contest.
The Dallas second round games are scheduled for 1:15 or 3:45 p.m. (CT).
