Women's Cross Country Finishes 9th

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Senior Wendy Ragle led the Lady Tiger cross country team to a ninth-place finish out of 11 NCAA Division I teams at the Vanderbilt Commodore Classic, Saturday. Ragle finished her first 5,000-meter race of the season in 20:48.48.
Senior Leslie Daley was the second Lady Tiger to cross the line in 68th place in 21:29.87, while Hayley Futrell finished 70th in 21:33.73. Karin Brooks and Sue Ann Bowen rounded out the Lady Tiger scorers, finishing 98th and 102nd, respectively. Titian Rose-Whittle also competed for the Lady Tigers, finishing in 134th spot in 26:27.60.
The women's cross country has an open weekend next weekend before competing at the Indiana State Invitational, Oct. 5th.
