New Orleans, LA - University of Memphis Lady Tiger golf team turned in a final round team score of 327 and finished 10th in the Tulane Green Wave Women's Golf Classic at Lakewood Country Club in New Orleans, LA. The Lady Tigers completed the 54-hole event with a score of 974.
Tennessee won this year's tournament with a combined score of 921. Vanderbilt was second at 942 and host Tulane placed third with a score of 946.
Tennessee's Tina Schneeberger won medalist honors in a sudden-death playoff with Vanderbilt's Meredeth Ward. Both players completed play with scores of 227. Memphis was led by sophomore Marianne Ruud who tied for 20th at 239.
