Men's Cross Country Finishes 21st At Meet of Champions

The University of Memphis men's cross country team placed 21st at the 2001 Iona Meet of Champions in New Rochelle, N.Y. Balazs Laszlo once again paced the Tigers with a 52nd place finish at the 25-team event. Memphis was the only southern school in the field dominated by Ivy League and east coast teams. The Tigers travel to Carbondale, Illinois, this weekend for the Southern Illinois Invitational.
