Brea Elmore, a Memphis women's basketball alumnus, returned to the program as a graduate manager in August 2024 and was promoted to assistant coach in May 2025.
She spent the 2023-24 season as the Associate Head Coach at Chipola College where she helped lead the Lady Indians to a 24-8 overall record and a trip to the FCSAA DI/NJCAA South Atlantic District Semifinal game. Before her coaching career, Elmore played professionally for five seasons overseas in the United Kingdom, Sweden and Bosnia.
A 2018 graduate, Elmore finished her playing career in Bluff City as the 25th Tiger to eclipse 1,000 points with 1,068, 312 rebounds, 251 assists, 142 steals and 137 three-point field goals made. In her senior season, Elmore led the team with 15.3 points per game while scoring in double figures 24 times.
The 2016-17 All-AAC Third Team honoree recorded a 24-game streak with at least one three-pointer and had 41 games with three or more assists.
A native of Stone Mountain, Ga., Elmore graduated with her bachelor's degree in communications from Memphis in 2018. She received her master’s in sports hospitality and a master’s certificate in sports administration from UofM in 2025.
