Jill Sikes joined the University of Memphis Volleyball coaching staff in 2023. After working as a Graduate Assistant at Washburn University from 2016-18, an associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at High Point University from 2018-22 and an assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Connecticut in 2022, Sikes became a Volunteer Assistant Coach on Sean Burdette's staff.
While at Washburn University, Sikes assisted in all facets of the program, where he specifically worked on the team's defense. While with Washburn, Sikes helped the program to a second place finish in the MIAA in 2016 and finished 13th in the AVCA ranking.
While at High Point University, Sikes assisted on the team's defense and worked with the outside hitters. Sikes helped lead the program to a two Big South Championships in the 2018 and 2020 seasons, securing a bid to the NCAA tournament. Sikes helped lead HPU to its first ever NCAA tournament win in the 2020 season.

While at the University of Connecticut, Sikes assisted on the team's defense and serving. Sikes lead the recruiting efforts for the 2023-24 recruiting class along with serving as the Academic Liaison for the team.
Sikes played for the Hendrix College where she also served as the team captain in 2014. She was named Second Team All-Conference in 2012, was a member of two SAA championships along with securing a bid to the DIII NCAA tournament , advancing to the Final Four in 2015. Sikes graduated with a BA degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Secondary Education from Hendrix College and then earned her MS degree in Education while at Washburn University.
