2011 Outdoor
Was fifth in the long jump at the SEMO Invite, leaping 6.51m (21' 4.25")... Set a personal best in the long jump at the Mississippi Open, where he leapt 6.65m (21' 10")... Set s personal-best in the triple jump in his first Tiger Invitational with a 13.82m (45' 4.25") mark... Earned points in his first-ever C-USA Outdoor Championship appearance, finishing seventh in the triple jump after his 13.66m (44' 9.75") jump.

2011 Indoor
Had four top-five's in three events during his first indoor campaign... Was third in the triple jump at the SEMO Invite in the triple jump (12.91m; 42' 4.25") and fifth in the 55m dash (personal-best 6.63s)... Set personal-bests in both the long jump (6.39m; 20' 11.75") and the triple jump (13.33m; 43' 9"), finishing fourth in the former and fifth in the latter.

Prior to Memphis
All-sport start at White Station High School, where he was a member of the bowling team, swim team and basketball team in addition to being a sprinter and jumper in track and field...member of 4x100-meter relay team that finished third in the 2010 TSSAA State Championships.
