2005-06: INDOOR- Took third in the 200 meters at the McDonalds Invitational with a PR of 22.98. OUTDOOR- Part of the Tigers Regional Qualifying 4x100 relay team that recorded a 40.51 mark at the Vanderbilt Relays ... Ran a season-best 22.86 in the 200 meters at the Ole Miss Dual Meet.

PREP: Attended Bishop Byrne H.S. where he was a wide receiver and defensive back on the football team and a sprinter and long jumper on the track team...Was a three-year captain and three-year MVP of the track team...Earned Best of the Preps and All-Metro honors...Voted All-Metro in football...Track coach was Jack Grannan.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 26, 1984 in Panama City, Panama...Son of Tharnell and Catherine Thomas...Father is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army...Majoring in university college...Chose the U of M because it was close to home and will allow him to improve in track...Also recruited by UT Chattanooga.
