Jordan VerHulst joined head coach Penny Hardaway's staff prior to the 2021-22 season as Director of Scouting, marking his second stint as a Tiger.
VerHulst returned to Memphis after a stint as assistant head coach at Chipola College in 2020-21, where the Indians won the Panhandle Conference championship and reached the NJCAA Division 1 Final Four. Prior to Chipola, he served as an assistant coach with the NBA G-League's Grand Rapids Drive (2019-20) and at Grand Valley State (2018-19), where the Lakers won the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. He spent four years at Auburn University prior to that, where he held the position of video coordinator and Special Assistant to the Head Coach.
In his previous role in Memphis from 2009-14, VerHulst was a graduate assistant and video coordinator, where he was in charge of all film and scouting reports.
VerHulst graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. He earned his master's degree in Sport Management from Memphis in 2012.
