• Member of the 2019 squad that finished with a 12-2 overall record, won the American Athletic Conference Championship and made an appearance at the 84^th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic

2018 (Freshman)

• Redshirted • Member of the 2018 squad that went 8-6, won the American Athletic Conference West Division title, played in The American Championship Game and earned a Birmingham Bowl berth
• The 2018 Tigers overcame a three-game deficit heading into the month of November to win the league’s West Division crown

Prior to Memphis/Personal

• Three-year varsity performer at running back for head coach Brice Brown at Edna Karr High School
• Helped lead the Cougars to back-to-back Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) Class 4A state championships
• The two title teams combined to go 29-1 in 2016 (14-0 record) and 2017 (15-1 record)
• Also led the Cougars to three-straight District 9-4A titles (2015-17)
• As a senior in 2017, recognized as the Enterprise Scholar-Athlete of the Game during the NFL’s New Orleans-New England game
• Carried a 3.95 grade-point average
• Member of the 2017 Edna Karr offense that rolled up 39.2 points a game, including 48 points in a 48-26 win over No. 2 Lakeshore in the championship game, in the Cougars’ state playoffs run
• Also led the Cougars to three-straight District 9-4A titles (2015-17)
• Helped Edna Karr to the 2015 LHSAA Class 4A state title game, where the Cougars finished as runner-up
• Son of Darell and Lasheeda Johnson
