• Member of the 12-2 AAC Championship team that earned a berth to the 84th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic

2018 (Redshirt Sophomore)

• Saw action in five games
• Most of his play came on special teams
• Four of his five games were against American Athletic Conference foes
• Had one total tackle
• Logged first collegiate hit, a solo stop, in a home win over Tulsa
• First game action of campaign came at Tulane
• Made season home debut in a win over Connecticut
• Member of the 2018 squad that went 8-6, won the American Athletic Conference West Division title, played in The American Championship Game and earned a Birmingham Bowl berth

2017 (Redshirt Freshman)

• Played in five games, with most of the action on special teams
• Made his collegiate debut in the home win over Southern Illinois
• Also saw action in road games at UCF, Connecticut and Tulsa and a home win over ECU
• Member of 2017 squad that went 10-3, won The American West Division title (7-1 league record) and played in The American Championship Game
• Squad earned the program’s first Liberty Bowl bid and played in the hometown’s postseason classic

2016 (Freshman)

• Redshirted
• Member of the 2016 team that went 8-5 and played in the Boca Raton Bowl.

Prior to Memphis/Personal

• Played three varsity seasons for head coach Brian Rector at Centennial High School in Franklin, Tenn.
• Helped lead the Cougars to a 24-5 overall record and an 11-2 district mark his junior and senior seasons combined
• Centennial advanced deep in the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Division I state playoffs both seasons
• Squad made it to the TSSAA Division I-Class 5A state semifinals in 2015 and the Class 6A state quarterfinals in 2014
• Member of the 2015 Cougars defense that allowed fewer than 80 rushing yards per game
• 2015 honors included: All-Region 7-5A, Franklin Home Page All-Area honorable mention and Franklin Home Page preseason All-Area third team
• As a junior in 2014, had 45 tackles and a team-best seven sacks
• Earned 2014 Franklin Home Page All-Area honorable mention accolades
