Career After leading the Tigers with 860 rushing yards in 2013, had a waiver for a sixth year of eligibility approved by the NCAA in January of 2014 ... Would return as a post-graduate student to play in Memphis' 2014 American Athletic Conference title season ... Played a significant role in the Tigers' seven-game win streak to end the season which resulted the school's first conference title since 1971 and just the program's second, 10-win season ... The 2014 season marked Memphis' first, 10-win season since 1938 ... The Tigers capped the season with a 55-48, double-overtime win over BYU at the inaugural Miami Beach Bowl ... Ranked third on the Memphis team with eight touchdowns -- five rushing touchdowns and three receiving ...Also caught 16 passes for 119 yards and three touchdowns ... 2013 (Junior) Rushed for 860 yards and five touchdowns on 2012 carries, averaging 4.3 yards per run during the 2013 season ... Also ranked fifth on the squad and was the leading receiver out of the backfield, catching 20 passes for 119 yards and two scores ... For the year had 979 all-purpose yards which ranked second on the squad ... Began what turned out to be his junior year with a 15-carry, 39-yard rushing game against Duke but set a season standard with a 20-yard reception in the game ... After an 81-yard rushing game at Middle Tennessee, recorded first 100-yard running game of the season against Arkansas State ... Ran for 114 yards, including a 6-yard touchdown bolt to cap the Tigers' first series in a 31-7 victory over A-State ... 2012 (Sophomore)
Did not see any playing time until the fourth game of the year but went on to lead the Tigers with 576 rushing yards and six touchdowns ... Closed out the season with back-to-back, 100-yard rushing games to close out a season in which he was named the team's Isaac Bruce Offensive Player of the Year ... Had two carries for 20 yards against Duke in first collegiate action of his career ... Had 51 rushing yards a week later in the Tigers' win over Rice including carries for seven and eight yards on the team's game-winning drive ... First career touchdown came on a then, career-high 36-yard run at SMU ... Carried the ball a career-high 22 times for 60 yards at Marshall ... Over the last two games of the season had a combined 242 rushing yards and scored five touchdowns ... In the Tigers' win over UAB in the "Battle for the Bones" had touchdown runs of seven, five and 46 yards, part of a career-high, 127-yard rushing effort ... Had 19 rushing attempts in the game ... scored on back-to-back drives in the fourth quarter ... Rushed for 115 yards and two scores against Southern Miss in the season finale ... 2011 (Redshirt Freshman - Scottsdale Community College)
Rushed for 556 yards and three touchdowns in his lone season of play at Scottsdale Community College ... Also caught 20 passes for 184 yards and another score ... Rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown on seven carries against Mesa Community College ... Gained 92 yards and also had a rushing touchdown against Eastern Arizona ... Registered a season-high 100 yards on 23 carries against Snow College.
2010 (Freshman)
Joined the Tigers during the 2010 spring practice session ... Was having a productive spring until suffering a knee injury in the Blue-Gray Game ... Underwent surgery to repair his right knee in May ... Missed the 2010 season while rehabbing his injury and used the year as a redshirt ... Was back on the field during spring 2011 and had a productive showing in the Blue-Gray Game ... Logged nine carries for 131 yards and a touchdown in the spring scrimmage.
White Station High School
Played locally for one season at White Station High for coach Devin Rutherford after moving to Memphis from Chicago ... Rushed for 1,750 yards and 19 touchdowns on 185 carries as a senior ... Had a stellar performance against Germantown High with 253 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries in the state quarterfinals ... Named Offensive Player of the Week by the Commercial Appeal on Nov. 18, 2008, after rushing for 195 yards and two touchdowns against Millington High in the second round of the playoffs ... Also tallied three receiving touchdowns as a senior ... Helped squad to a 10-4 record and an appearance in the state semifinals in 2008 ...
