He was ranked the No. 18 shooting guard in the nation and the No. 80 player overall and was a consensus Top 100 prospect in the 2018 class. . . . ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports listed him as a four-star recruit. . . . He helped Oak Ridge to the 2018 Florida High School Activities Association (FHSAA) Class 9A state title. Oak Ridge won its first state title with a 71-60 victory over Wellington in the championship game in early March. The Pioneers finished 30-4. . . . In the state semifinal against West Orange, Jones finished with 30 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks. . . .
