Schlueter Named American Conference Honorable Mention

IRVING, Texas – For the second consecutive week, University of Memphis senior libero Abigail Schlueter has been named to the American Conference weekly honorable mention list, the league announced Monday.
The selection marks the second weekly conference honor of her career. Schlueter is the first Tiger in program history to earn back-to-back honorable mention nods from the American.
During the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Classic, Schlueter recorded 32 digs across nine sets, averaging 3.56 digs per set. In Memphis' win over Louisiana, the senior posted a team-high 20 digs alongside four assists and a service ace.

Memphis returns home to host the Carrie Yerty Classic beginning Thursday, Sept. 10 against Alcorn State at 10 a.m. The Tigers will then face Boston College on Friday at 6 p.m. before wrapping up the tournament against Mississippi State on Saturday at 3 p.m. All three matches will stream live on ESPN+.
