Little Named American Conference Offensive Player of the Week; Marshall Earns Honor Roll Selection

IRVING, Texas – Two members of the University of Memphis volleyball team earned American Conference weekly honors, the league office announced Monday.
Senior outside hitter Caitlyn Little was named the American Conference Offensive Player of the Week, while junior setter Sydney Marshall was selected to the weekly honorable mention list. This marks the first career conference award for both student-athletes. Little is the first Tiger to earn Offensive Player of the Week honors since Amanda Hardt on Sept. 16, 2025.
Little, from St. Louis, Mo., led the Memphis offense with 56 total kills over 10 sets, averaging 5.60 kills per set across three matches. Her average ranked sixth in NCAA Division I last week. In a victory over Ole Miss, Little finished just two kills shy of her career high with 24 kills, while also contributing 16 digs and two blocks during the contest. Little recorded a total of 23 digs and six blocks across all three matches.
Marshall, a native of Lake Mary, Fla., dished out 109 assists, averaging 10.90 assists per set. She posted 30-plus assists in all three contests, ranking 37th nationally in assists per set for the week.
