2026 LSU Alumni Gold Results

BATON ROGUE, La. – Senior distance runner Kenny Guy won the 3,000-meter event with a time of 8:32.01 at the LSU Alumni Gold at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium on Saturday.

The performance marks Guy's first victory of the season and the second 3,000-meter win of his career. It is his first individual title since last season's Memphis Tiger Invitational, where he won the 5,000-meter event.

Overall, Memphis brought home one victory, 10 top-five finishes and four personal-bests. A full list of the lone victory, top-five finishes and PRs can be found below. Comprehensive meet results can be found in the link above.

The women's 4x100-meter relay team of Gizel Clayton, Destiny Jenkins, Rickaiya Whitman and Kaseiana Meriweather secured a third-place finish with a time of 45.14. This time ranks No. 78 in the nation and fifth in the American.

Throwers Isabelle Cruickshank and Marek Waltke put up standout performances as both finished second in the javelin. Cruickshank threw 50.01 meters, while Waltke threw 67.49 meters.

Memphis returns to action next week to host the Memphis Tiger Invitational starting Friday, May 1.
