FORT WORTH, Texas – University of Memphis football quarterback Brendon Lewis has been named to the Davey O'Brien Award Week 5 Great 8 list, the Davey O'Brien Foundation announced Monday.
With being named to the list, Lewis also finds himself on the Davey O'Brien Award Midseason Watch List. The Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award is presented annually to the nation's best college quarterback and is the oldest and most prestigious national quarterback award.
Lewis, a Dallas, Texas native, finished 13-of-19 for 196 yards and two touchdowns. The dual-threat quarterback also punched in two scores of his own while running for 60 yards himself on 17 carries.
New this year, fans are encouraged to purchase early and save. Ticket prices will increase by $5 during game week and again by an additional $5 on game day at the Box Office. This change helps support enhanced planning for security, concessions and staffing. Historically, over 90% of single-game tickets are purchased during game week.
Season ticket prices remain unchanged from 2024, following a perfect 7-0 home campaign. With prices averaging under $25 per game, season tickets remain the best value for Tiger fans. Tickets can be purchased online at GoTigersGo.com or by calling the Memphis Ticket Office at (901) 678-2331.
UP NEXT:
Memphis will return home next Saturday, Oct. 4 to take on Tulsa at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
