Tigers Earn Wins Over La Tech, Tulane Friday Afternoon

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The University of Memphis women's tennis team picked up two wins Friday afternoon after claiming 4-2 victories over Louisiana Tech and Tulane.

Against the Bulldogs, after La Tech took the doubles point, Memphis recorded singles victories from Leonie Moeller, Alyssa Richter, Alice Amendola and Clemence Thouard to claim the match.

While the match with Tulane started the same, the ending also produced the same outcome from earlier in the day; Sofia Mykhailets, Richter, Amendola and Thouard all won in straight sets to take down the Green Wave and extend the team's winning streak to five of its last six matches.

Memphis will be back home on Wednesday, April 2 to host Florida Atlantic. First serve is set for 5 p.m.
