Memphis Football Announces 2025 Schedule

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis football team announced its 2025 schedule on Friday. The Tigers will host six games at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium and play six road contests during the 2025 season.
The slate includes contests against six teams who made bowl-game appearances in 2024.
In non-conference play, Memphis will open the season on Saturday, August 30 against Chattanooga at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The non-conference slate also includes a home contest against Arkansas (Sept. 20) as well as road games at Georgia State (Sept. 6) and Troy (Sept. 13).
In AAC action, the Tigers will host Tulsa (Oct. 4), South Florida (Oct. 25), Tulane (Nov. 7) and Navy (Nov. 27).
On the road in conference play, Memphis will square off with Florida Atlantic (Sept. 27), UAB (Oct. 18), Rice (Oct. 31) and East Carolina (Nov. 15).
Kickoff times and television designations for the first three weeks of the season will be finalized by June 1.
The Tigers are coming off a win over West Virginia in the Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl along with the program's fifth season with 10-plus wins, also marking the first time ever recording back-to-back seasons with double-digit wins. In 2025, Memphis returns All-AAC honorees in offensive lineman Xavier Hill and defensive lineman William Whitlow Jr. to go along with a highly-rated recruiting class.
