Oct 26, 2025 | Football
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -Â The University of Memphis football team is back in both polls this week, coming in at No. 25 in the US LBM Coaches and Associated Press polls.
Â
Memphis (7-1, 3-1 American) is coming off a 34-31 victory over then No. 18/20 South Florida inside Simmons Banks Liberty Stadium Saturday night. The Tigers, who were down 31-17 heading into the fourth quarter, put up 17 unanswered points in the final 15 minutes of the game. On the game-winning strike, quarterback Brendon Lewis found Cortez Braham Jr. in the back corner of the endzone for the go-ahead score with just over one minute left in the game.
Â
The Tigers have a quick turn around this week, hitting the road to take on Rice (4-4, 1-3 American) this Friday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
Â
New this year, fans are encouraged to purchase early and save. Ticket prices will increase by $5 during game week and again by an additional $5 on game day at the Box Office. This change helps support enhanced planning for security, concessions and staffing. Historically, over 90% of single-game tickets are purchased during game week. Tickets can be purchased online at GoTigersGo.com or by calling the Memphis Ticket Office at (901) 678-2331.
