Nationally Ranked Men’s Tennis Releases Fall Schedule

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Heading into his second season at the helm of the University of Memphis men's tennis team, head coach Chris Doerr has announced the first half of the Tigers 2024-25 schedule.
"We are really excited about our fall schedule," Doerr said. "It's great to mix in some pro events after our guys did so well this summer on tour."
No. 27 Memphis will kickoff the season at the ITA All-American Championship in Tulsa, Okla. Sept. 21-29. Last season, eight Tigers were selected to compete in the event, including now senior Pablo Alemany, who was ranked 35th in the nation in singles heading into that week.
Following the Tigers opening week of competition, Memphis will take part in the Louisville M25 Oct. 5-13 before spending two weeks in Oklahoma for the ITA Central Regional and the Norman M25. The team will finish the month in Houston competing against AAC opponent Rice Oct. 24-27.
Starting off November, Memphis will split time the first weekend between Dallas and Atlanta at the SMU Invite and the Georgia Tech Invite. The Tigers will follow up with the ITA Master's Conference and ITS Sectionals Nov. 7-10 before competing in the NCAA Individuals Championship Nov. 19-24.
