Tigers Head to AAC Tournament

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's golf team will travel to Brooksville, Florida to compete in the American Athletic Conference Tournament. The three-day tournament opens Monday, April 15 and will run through Wednesday, April 17.
"This is an extremely competitive field at our championship event. The team has been preparing and hopefully we will put three good rounds together and see what we can do," head coach Jennifer Jordan said.
The 54-hole course will be played at Southern Hills Plantation Club on the par-72 6,289-yard course. The team will play 18 holes on Monday followed by 18 on Tuesday and 18 holes in the final round on Wednesday.
In the tournament, Memphis will face a field of 11 conference opponents in Charlotte, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, SMU, South Florida, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, UTSA and Wichita State.
Last time out, the Tigers earned their highest finish of the season, taking third in the Georgia State Invitational. Brink recorded her first career individual win along with setting her new career 18-hole low score of 68.
