Mulrooney Adds 15 Players for 2024 Season

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following a historic season, head men's soccer coach Richard Mulrooney has added 15 players for the upcoming 2024 season.
"Once again, I want give Kevin Tello and Tony McManus a ton of credit for helping recruit this class coming in. They worked tirelessly to make this happen and the program was rewarded as we have some great young men coming in to represent us on and off the field," Mulrooney said. "As with every year you have departures and spots to fill or strengthen and I believe we were able to do that with this group. I'm excited to continue to build upon what we have been accomplishing here at Memphis and I believe we will continue to do that with this group."
Jack Langford | Freshman | Midfielder | Houston High School | Memphis, Tenn.
Langford remains in his hometown after four years at Houston High School where he helped lead his varsity squad to a TSAA State Champion Title in 2020, 2021, and 2023.
Ryan Ruguaru | Freshman | Midfielder | Lausanne Collegiate School | Memphis, Tenn.
Ruguaru comes to Memphis from nearby high school, Lausanne Collegiate. In the last 4 years, Ruguaru was selected as an All-Region MVP, All-Tournament team and was able to help lead his high school and club team to a state championship.
Morgan English | Freshman | Goalkeeper | Flower Mound High School | Flower Mound, Texas
English joins the Memphis squad from Flower Mound High School in Flower Mound, Texas where he was a 2021 ECNL National Champion.
Luciano Galizzi | Fifth Year | Forward | Christian Brothers University | Memphis, Tenn.
Galizzi makes his appearance at Memphis after four seasons at Christian Brothers University where he led his team to a conference tournament championship and earned First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-Region, and Second Team All-American during the 2022 season.
Galizzi is the younger brother of former Memphis Tiger great, Maxi Galizzi.
Jackson Biggs | Freshman | Forward | Columbus High School | Columbus, Ohio
Biggs joins Memphis from Columbus High School where he was the 4A Region 2 Defensive Player of the Year, Class 3A Region 1 Player of the Year and a Georgia Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Selection. Biggs was also selected as a Southeast All-American and First Team All-Region in back-to-back seasons and currently holds his high school's record for most consecutive games with a goal.
Dominic Breidenbach | Sophomore | Defender | IUPUI | Lebanon, Ohio
Breidenbach comes to Memphis from IUPUI where he was chosen for the Horizon League All-Academic Team.
Filip Sabatti | Sophomore | Goalkeeper | La Salle University | Porec, Croatia
Sabatti joins the Memphis squad after two seasons at La Salle where he played 25 games and recorded eight shutouts. Sabatti was voted for the Philly Soccer Six Rookie of the Week twice and was named to the Philly Soccer Six All-Rookie Team. Sabatti also had two Atlantic-10 votes for Conference Rookie of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week.
Dominic Foster | Graduate | Defender | East Tennessee State University | South London, England
Foster comes to Memphis after four years at ETSU where he was selected to the Second Team All- Southern Conference and the All-Tournament Team. Foster also led his team to become a USL 2 National Finalist and USL 2 Eastern Conference Champion
Anthony DiFalco | Sophomore | Midfielder | Duquesne University | Pittsburgh, Penn.
DiFalco comes from Duquesne where he started 13 of the team's 16 games and finished the season with 2 assists.
During his prep career at Franklin Regional High School, DiFalco was a three-time All-American, All-Region, and All-State selection.
Alejandro Padilla | Junior | Defender | Sacramento State University | Albuquerque, N.M.
Padilla joins the Memphis squad after three seasons at Sacramento State where he made 45 starts in the 49 games he appeared in. During his time in California, Padilla also had four assists and was recognized with All-Big West Conference Honorable Mention in 2022.
Lleyton Imparato | Junior | Midfielder | Temple University | Tampa, Fla.
Imparato comes to Memphis from fellow AAC opponent, Temple, where he played in all 15 matches for the Owls and notched two goals and one assist during the 2023 season.
Adam Yousfi | Junior | Midfielder | Campbell University | Lyon, France
French native, Yousfi, comes to Memphis from Campbell University where he had five goals and five assists in the 14 games that he played. Yousfi also helped lead his team to a National Championship during his time at Monroe Community College in 2022.
Brody Conley | Graduate | Defender/Midfielder | University of Mary Hardin-Baylor | Houston, Texas
Conley makes his way to the Bluff City after three seasons at the University of Mary Hardin- Baylor where he recorded nine goals and eight assists. Conley was recognized as ASC Player to Watch, ASC Distinguished Scholar Athlete, CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, All-Academic ASC and was a three-time ASC All Conference Player.
Graham Duncan | Freshman | Midfielder | Rossview High School | Clarksville, Tenn.
Duncan comes to Memphis after prepping at Rossview High School where he was a TSWA All-State First Team selection during the 2022 and 2023 seasons and was named an ECNL First Team All-Southeastern Conference player for three consecutive seasons.
Logan Haddad | Freshman | Goalkeeper | St. George's Independent School | Memphis, Tenn.
Haddad joins the Tigers after a successful prep career at St. George's Independent School where he was named as the Division 2A-West All-District and was named as the Most Valuable Player.
