#12 Tigers Extend Winning Streak to Five After 1-0 Win Over UTSA
Sep 21, 2023 | Women's Soccer
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Memphis Tiger women's soccer team collected its fifth consecutive win following the 1-0 win over the Roadrunners of UTSA.
After today's game, Memphis moves to 8-1 for the season and to 2-0 in AAC play.
"It wasn't our best performance, but conference play is a fight," said head coach Brooks Monaghan. "Winning is not easy, especially in conference play, so I'm really proud of the team for finding a way to win tonight. Also, you've got to give credit to UTSA and their coach, he gets the most out of his group and they are always a tough team to play against. We just have to continue to get better each week to hopefully make some of these wins a bit easier for us."
