Men’s & Women’s Basketball To Compete in Battle 4 Atlantis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – It will be a busy Thanksgiving for the men's and women's basketball teams as they will make the trip down to the Bahamas for the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament. The women will play Nov. 18-20 while the men will play Nov. 22-24.
Head coach Alex Simmons and crew will kick the week off on Saturday, Nov. 18 when they take on Arizona in the opening round. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. CT with coverage available on FloHoops. From there, they will face-off with either Ole Miss or Howard.
Along with Memphis, Arizona, Ole Miss and Howard, the other side of the bracket is made up of Michigan, Middle Tennessee, DePaul and South Dakota.
The reigning AAC Champions will round out the week in Atlantis when they play their opening round game against Michigan on Wednesday, Nov. 22. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT with coverage available on ESPN2. From there, they will see either Arkansas or Stanford.
Other teams on the men's side for Battle 4 Atlantis include North Carolina, Northern Iowa, Texas Tech and Villanova.
