MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis men's tennis wrapped up its final weekend at home with a split decision in matches against Wichita State and SMU.

The 35th-ranked Tigers roared past the Shockers 4-1 on Friday before dropping their only home match of the season 4-2 against the No. 55 Mustangs on Sunday. They move to 11-6 on the year and 4-1 in American Athletic Conference play.

Memphis fell behind against WSU (9-13) losing the doubles point, but bounced back with four-straight wins in singles action to take the match. All four matches were won in straight sets.

On senior day, the Tigers once against dropped the doubles point despite David Stevenson and Jeremy Taylor teaming up to win 6-4 on the top line.

Pau Fanlo put Memphis on the board with a win in three sets (6-0, 2-6, 6-4) on court six before Oscar Cutting emerged victorious 7-6(5), 6-3 at the No. 3 position.

Memphis will close out its regular season at Tulane next weekend (April 15) before turning its attention to the AAC Championships in Orlando, Florida April 21-23.
