SAN DIEGO – The No. 25 Memphis men's tennis team got back on track to wrap up the weekend with a 4-0 victory over San Diego State Sunday evening at the Aztec Tennis Center.
The Tigers (9-5) opened the Ed Collins Spring Classic with a pair of 4-1 defeats on Friday and Saturday to Utah and San Diego before returning home with their ninth victory of the season over the Aztecs.
Memphis made quick work in grabbing the doubles point with a 6-0 win on court two and a 6-1 victory on court three from Pablo Alemany and Oscar Cutting.
Conor Gannon got the singles action started on the fourth line with a 6-4, 6-1 sweep before Jeremy Taylor put Memphis in front 3-0 with a straight-set victory on court five (6-3, 6-2).
Harry Rock earned the clinch point at the sixth position with a 6-4, 6-2 decision to improve the sophomore to 10-1 in singles play on the year.

Memphis is back in action March 31 when Middle Tennessee visits Bluff City for the final nonconference battle of the spring.
