Riddle Punches Ticket to NCAA Indoor Championships

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis senior pole vaulter Cole Riddle is headed to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 10 and 11. Riddle qualified as the No. 6 seed in the country in the pole vault with a mark of 5.64 meters (18'6").
"Cole has had an incredible indoor season," head coach Kevin Robinson said. "Although he didn't have the conference meet we hoped for, he is still one of the best vaulters in the country. I am really excited and proud of what he and Coach Ellis have been able to accomplish together. Cole can jump with the best, and he will get that chance next week."
ESPN+ will have a live stream of the championships beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 10 and 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 11.

- Riddle broke the American Athletic Conference all-time pole vault record 5.64m (18'6") on Feb. 5.
- He broke the previous Memphis school record three different times this season.
