Jefferson Picks Up AAC Weekly Honor Roll Nod

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following a crucial win where she recorded her first career double-double while leading the team in scoring and rebounding, Emani Jefferson has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season.

Jefferson, a guard out of Miami, Fla., poured in a game-high 19 points where she got 11 of them at the free throw line. The junior would also grab a team-best 11 rebounds with five of them coming on the offensive end. Jefferson would also dish out two assists, block one shot and grab four steals in the team's overtime win over UCF.

This is the second AAC Weekly Award win for Jefferson this season and the fifth of her career.
