• Memphis has scored 20 or more points in 25-consecutive games, the longest active streak in the nation.
• Over the last five games, Memphis has scored 227 points – the most over a five-game stretch since the Tigers scored 288 in a four-game span in 2017 (vs. Tulane, Tulsa, SMU, ECU, UCF).

• Kicker Tanner Gillis got the Tigers on the board with 7:25 left to play in the first quarter, drilling a 47-yard field goal into the wind.
• Quarterback Seth Henigan found a wide open Demeer Blankumsee down the sideline for a 27-yard touchdown pass that gave Memphis a 10-7 lead at the end of the first quarter. Henigan completed 10-of-12 passes for 111 yards and a score in the first quarter.
• With his 11th completion of the game, Henigan moved past Brady White (771) to second all-time on Memphis' career-completions list. Only Danny Wimprine has more than Henigan (808).
• Gillis connected on his second field goal of the game from 36-yards out to cut the SMU lead to a point (14-13) entering the half.
• Defensive back Greg Rubin recorded a sack and tied for a team-high six tackles on the day. Fellow defensive back Cameron Smith was also in on six stops.
• Running back Brandon Thomas punched in the 25th touchdown of his Tiger career from a yard out with 4:27 to play in the third quarter. The Tigers went for two on the ensuing play and Henigan found tight end Anthony Landphere open to tie the game at 21-all.
• Henigan completed 24 of his first 30 passes (80%) for 268 yards and a touchdown. He ended the game with a career-best 35 completions (35-of-51) for 402 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It marked the seventh 300-yard game for Henigan this season and 17th of his career – a school record – in addition to his fifth 400-yard game, which is also a school record.
• After today's game, Henigan ranks second at Memphis for career pass attempts (1,252) and completions (796) and third all-time for passing yards (10,159) and touchdowns (71).
• Running back Blake Watson scampered 11 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter to tie the game at 28-28 after the Gillis PAT. Watson ended the day with 41 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown and caught three passes for 31 yards.
• Watson's 1,374 yards from scrimmage (rushing and receiving) this season place him No. 10 all-time for a single season at Memphis. Among running backs, Watson's total is eighth-best ever.
• Blankumsee hauled in a career-high nine balls for 114 yards and a pair of touchdowns, giving him his third 100-yard game this season and the fourth of his career.
• Wide receiver Roc Taylor recorded his fifth 100-yard game of the year, reeling in a career-high eight receptions for 146 yards. Taylor's 925 receiving yards this season are the eighth-most ever in a single season by a Tiger.
