Tiger Softball Signs Addison Lund to 2024 Class

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Head Memphis Tiger softball coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro announces Addison Lund to her 2024 class.
Lund, a 5'5" catcher/utility player out of Appleton, Wis., comes to Memphis after a successful prep career at Menasha High School.
"All coaches are excited about natural athletes with a big bat, and I am thrilled for the addition of Addison who is a power hitter," VanBrakle Prothro said. "She is coming from Wisconsin and will tremendously increase our athleticism. I am pleased to have her, and her family come south and join the Memphis family."
Lund was named as the FVA all-conference team as a freshman during the 2020-21 season. She was also named as the Bay all-conference and all-district team during the 2022-23 season. Lund is also a two-time USA HPP selectee and has been a Player Alliance Committee member since 2022.
"I chose Memphis because of the environment, when I went on the visit and fell in love with it," Lund shared. "The coaches and players were so open and I felt like I clicked right away."
