Shutes Named to Second AAC Weekly Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After leading the team in scoring for both game last week, Jamirah Shutes has been named to the American Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll.

Shutes, a 5^th year senior out of Brownsville, Tenn., averaged just over 20 points per game while pouring in a game-high 24 points in the team's win at East Carolina. Shutes would go on to follow that up with a 17-point performance against #25 South Florida. She would add in five rebounds and four assists over the two games.

This is the second AAC Weekly Award for Shutes this season and the fifth of her career.
