CHICAGO, Ill. – The University of Memphis men's golf team placed sixth out of 14 teams at the Windon Memorial on Tuesday at the Evanston Golf Club in Chicago, Ill. The Tigers carded a team total of 851 (+11), while No. 36-ranked Northwestern won with a score of 838 (-2).
"We really had a chance to get the season off to a great start, but the conditions and opportunity got the better of us in the final round," head coach Blake Smart said. "Jack was fantastic and showed the upside that we had identified heading into the season. Another solid week for Adam following up Cincinnati. We have about 10 days to get a few things sorted out and get back on the road. This team has a chance, but we will need to get over some hurdles here early in the year."
