MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis will begin a four-game homestand on Saturday, Sept. 17 against Arkansas State at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

SETTING THE SCENE
• Memphis is 22-1 in the team's last 23 non-conference home contests.
• The Tigers earned an AAC road win last week, defeating Navy, 37-13, in Annapolis, Md. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
• Quarterback Seth Henigan passed for 415 yards and two touchdowns to pace the offense, while defensive back Quindell Johnson had 13 tackles and an interception for the Tigers.
• Memphis posted a record of 6-6 last season, earning the program's eighth-straight bowl appearance.
• The Tigers were named the EasyPost Hawai'i Bowl Champions after Hawai'i was unable to participate.
• The eight-consecutive bowls streak is tied for the eighth-best in the nation and is the best among all non-Power 5 programs.

• After opening the season with a 58-3 win over Grambling State, the Red Wolves dropped a 45-12 contest on the road at No. 3/3-ranked Ohio State this past Saturday.
• A-State has yet to turn the ball over this season and ranks third in the NCAA in time of possession (36:49).
• Prior to the year, Arkansas State was picked to finish sixth in the West Division of the Sun Belt.
• Linebacker Kivon Bennett, returner Johnnie Lang and wide receiver Te'Vailance Hunt were named Preseason All-Sun Belt.

• The meeting between Memphis and Navy on Saturday will mark the 61st all-time game between the two programs dating back to 1914.
• The Tigers hold a record of 31-24-5 over the Red Wolves all-time, including a mark of 23-11-4 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
• Memphis has won three-straight over A-State, including a 55-50 victory in Jonesboro last season.
• Arkansas State has lost three-straight games in Memphis, with the last win (26-23) coming on Oct. 14, 2006.
