MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger women's soccer team did not let their loss to Ole Miss affect them; coming back to South Campus tonight, the Tigers claimed the 3-0 win over Iowa State.

Following tonight's win, Memphis moves to 2-1-0 overall.

KEY MOMENTS

Momo Nakao opened up shop for Memphis in the first half, scoring her first goal of the season at the 11' off an assist from Saorla Miller.
Mackenzie Bray got her first goal of the season to extend the Tigers lead in the 75' when she headed one home off a corner kick from Jocelyn Alonzo.
Miller pulled out the fancy foot-work in the 84' when she took the ball herself into the box and found the back of the net for her first one this year.

NOTABLES

Freshman Sarah Bozeman got the start and win today making two saves and getting the shutout.
Memphis, who tallied 24 shots, held Iowa State to just six shots the entire match. The Tigers also led with 12 corner kicks compared to the Cyclones three.
Tonight's win marks the third consecutive win for the Tigers over Iowa State.
