Track and Field to Start Competition at USA Invitational

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis track and field teams are set to compete at the USA Invitational Sunday in Birmingham, Ala.
The University of South Alabama will host the one-day meet at the Birmingham CrossPlex. The day will begin with track events at 9:30 a.m. and will finish up after field events in the afternoon.
The Tigers most recently competed at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville, Ky., where four top-two performances were earned by DeeNia McMiller, Cole Riddle, Iason Machairas and Robby Watson. Riddle also earned the conference honor of AAC Male Field Athlete of the Week.
"I am very excited to improve and build momentum, as well as compete at the facility that will host our conference meet," said head coach Kevin Robinson. "We are hoping for some breakthroughs!"
Competing Teams: Alabama State, Alabama-Hunstville, Arkansas State, Auburn, Christian Brothers, Florida International, Florida A&M, Jackson State, Kennesaw State, Little Rock, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, MTSU, New Orleans, Ole Miss, Saint Leo University, Samford, Southeastern Louisiana, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Troy, UAB, UT-Chattanooga, Wisconsin.
